To better serve our clients we have temporarily moved to the Rumney Marsh Academy at 140 American Legion Highway Revere. Everything else is the same!
The First Congregational Church of Revere Food Pantry is an emergency food provider for food insecure families in our community.
We have been serving Revere and the surrounding area for the past 36 years. We are open every Wednesday night from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Clients may pick up food twice a month. We ask that they bring an ID and 2 forms of proof of address (lease or two different utility bills.) Only one member per household can register.
We run 100% on volunteers! During the course of the year, we serve about 900 families. We need help on Wednesday nights before and during the Food Pantry hours and at other times during the week for miscellaneous tasks. We always need help unloading the 3000-5000 lbs of food we get from the Greater Boston Food Bank on the second and third Tuesdays of the month at 8 am.
Donations are always welcome (non-perishable items please), please call the church office to drop off food, request a pickup or volunteer to help!
